Modular vaults are a good alternative to cast in-situ concrete vaults.  They offer many advantages including:

  1. Can be tested to meet international standards like Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL) Class M, 1, 2, or 3.  This is difficult with cast in-situ concrete vaults.  The ability to certify a vault to a standard is especially useful when it comes to insurance purposes.
